Traditional cotton dishcloths: new stock now in

Our cotton dishcloths have been even more popular than usual this year. They're great for wiping down all sorts of kitchen or bathroom surfaces, and are colour-coded with 6 different coloured stripes.
The 12-pack (£11.40) contains two each of red stripe, pale blue stripe, navy blue stripe, yellow stripe, turquoise stripe, and beige stripe.
Today we received new stock of these cotton dishcloths, so we have plenty available to send out to you.
We are continuing to send out onlne and telephone orders during lockdown. We dispatch most days by Royal Mail from Brecon Post Office.

New Viyella tattersall check country shirt in subtle shade of green

Viyella tattersall shirts are always popular with our customers. We've just added a new shirt to our existing range - a classic tattersall check on a subtle green background, giving a country look that goes well with a range of corduroys, tweeds, and sweaters.
Warm and practical, Viyella tattersall shirts are made from a blend of long staple cotton and merino wool. This produces a fabric which is soft yet durable.
For autumn and winter wear with a jacket and tie or open-necked, these are lovely shirts to add to your wardrobe.

Online and telephone orders will continue during Welsh lockdown

During the Welsh lockdown (23rd October to 7th November) we will continue sending out online and phone orders to customers as usual. If there is any change to this we will post another news item with an update.
Today the Welsh First Minister announced a lockdown in Wales starting at 6pm on Friday 23rd October, ending on Monday 7th November. The shop in Brecon will be closed during the lockdown, as it is classed as a non-essential business. Online and telephone orders will continue.

100% British wool Prince of Wales check suits

Two made to measure Prince of Wales check suits have arrived here in Brecon ready for customers. Both fabrics are 100% wool, woven in the UK, from Harrisons of Edinburgh. One is a lighter shade, one a darker shade. Both are a good medium weight, suitable for wear all year round.

Holland & Sherry Donegal tweed suit ready for collection

This made to measure two-piece suit is in Holland and Sherry light grey and black Donegal tweed. It is 100% wool, a medium weight fabric suitable for year-round wear. The contrasting alcantara collar combines well with the trim on the rounded patch pockets.
It's just arrived in Brecon for a regular customer. Although made up as a 2-piece suit, the jacket would work equally well as a stand-alone jacket.

Made to measure appointments going ahead safely

It's been lovely to see regular made to measure customers again and to meet new customers. To help keep everyone safe, I have sanitising gel, gloves, visors, and masks available for you to wear, whether we meet in my shop or at your home. I will of course be wearing PPE (personal protetive equipment) for your safety during appointments.

Silk ties with horse design, diamonds, & Paisley patterns added to online shop

We've added more silk ties to our online shop. Paisley patterns, diamond designs, and horse/bridle motifs all feature. These silk ties make a beautiful knot and look great with blazer, suit, and tweed jacket.

Easycare tablecloths for barbecues, tea in the garden, nurseries, schools and other organisations

Easycare seersucker tablecloths are a favourite with our customers. We have rectangular, square, and round tablecloths, in yellow check, green check, blue check, and red check.
Seersucker tablecloths are bright and practical, machine washable up to 40 degrees and barely require a light iron.
We have matching seersucker napkins too so you can have a co-ordinated tablecloth and napkin set. This is popular with organisations such as Women's Institutes and church halls as well as for people's kitchens and dining rooms.
Customers are also buying these tablecloths for socially-distanced barbecues and tea parties in their gardens!

Shops in Wales are allowed to open today, Monday 22nd June.
I'll be delighted to welcome you to my shop in Brecon's Market Arcade. To help me give you the best and safest attention, please phone ahead (any time between 8am and 10pm) on 01874 623613 or 07731926832 to check I am available.
If there is a specific item you'd like (e.g. Sloggi underwear, Jockey briefs, cotton dishcloths, waffle weave tea towels) give me a call on 01874 623613 or 07731926832 and I will have it ready for you in the shop or I can deliver it to you locally. You can also order safely online - online orders have continued uninterrupted. Please do give me a call if you have any queries about an online order or about any of my products or made to measure service.
There will be hand sanitiser on the counter outside the door for you to use before and after you come into the shop. There will also be gloves outside the shop for you to put on. For everyone's safety, we'll have one person at a time (or two from the same household) in the shop.
You will be able to look at items of clothing and try them on. Garments you handle/try on but do not buy will then be quarantined for three days before anyone else touches them.

Coronavirus update 12.6.20

We continue to send out your online and telephone orders by Royal Mail from Brecon Post Office. Welsh Government rules mean the shop currently remains closed, but you are still able to order with us and we are still able to send you items.
