Albert Thurston wool boxcloth braces now available in navy blue

We have extended our range of Albert Thurston's famous wool boxcloth braces to include navy blue. Navy blue Thurston braces are in stock in both clip end and in leather end (runner end) for button attachment.

Thurston braces are world famous traditional gentlemen's accessories. They have been made in England since 1820, and are regarded as the best braces of their type. We now stock them in gold, red, green, wine (burgundy), and navy blue.

Extra strong, extra long wide clip blue braces back in stock

Our best selling extra strong, extra long braces in navy blue are back in stock as promised. WIth their wide clip and strong material, these braces are favourites with our customers. Here are some of their comments:

• The 3 pairs of extra long braces arrived today. These are the first braces I've found which stay firmly atttached to my trousers when I bend or stoop.
• These wide extra strong clip braces are ideal in every way, the best I have ever bought.
• The braces are excellent, just the support I need!
• Received the men's braces I ordered yesterday. The quality of the item is outstanding, I could probably tow my car with them! Good width, brilliant buckles and fittings, and very long (what I wanted).
• Thank you for sending the braces. The heavy duty pair are excellent. Long enough to be comfortable and the fasteners are superb. Extra strong braces, in navy, in extra long, due back in stock on 15th May

Extra strong braces with wide clips are bestsellers. The extra long (XL, 48 inches) in navy are proving especially popular, and - although we are temporarily sold out of these - we are looking forward to new stock arriving on 15th May.

Extra strong braces in XL are currently available in wine (burgundy), grey, green, and red. Extra stong braces are also available in standard length and in extra extra long (XXL).

The ever-popular Sloggi briefs for ladies now come in handy packs of 3. Famous for their good fit and comfort, Sloggi briefs are made from 95% cotton plus 5% elastane to provide gentle stretch. The new 3-packs are available in our online shop now.

Our ladies Sloggi basic maxi briefs come in white and in black, in sizes from UK 10 (USA 6) to UK 32 (USA 28). They are kind to the skin and wash well. Meyer dark blue stretch denim jeans - now available to buy online

Meyer stretch denim jeans are top quality. They have a classic fit, comfortable but hard-wearing fabric, and stylish detailing. We are pleased to have the dark blue jeans in our online shop now, as well as in our shop in Brecon.

Meyer denim is 98% cotton and 2% elastane - and it's the elastane that gives the stretch that makes Meyer jeans so comfortable. A high quality waistband with double fabric also helps give comfort and a good fit. There are 7 belt loops, one with a subtle stiched "M" logo, and a matching belt with a neat silver-effect buckle is included. The zip fly also has a hook fastening, and has no sharp edges on the zip

The traditional 5 pockets (2 front, 2 back, one coin pocket) are supplemented by a concealed, zipped security pocket. The back pockets have stylish details and stitching, and a button fastening.

Meyer jeans team up well with a Viyella shirt and a jumper. Smart and practical, they are great for everyday wear, and for casual evenings out. They really are the jeans for men who do not usually wear jeans. Certainly my two pairs are often in use when I am not wearing a suit in the shop! I hope you like them as much as I do.

BFPO VAT-free dispatch option now available for online orders

We are pleased we can now offer an automatic BFPO dispatch option for online orders. This means that you can order from a BFPO address and have your Aidan Sweeney goods dispatched to you at that BFPO address with P&P charged at our normal UK P&P rate, and with the VAT automatically removed from the cost of the goods.

Full details are explained on our BFPO - How to order page. When you enter the delivery address for your order, for "Country" select "BFPO" from the drop-down list of countries. That ensures the cost of your goods is shown without the UK VAT, and with the correct P&P rate, before you confirm your order and pay.

If your BFPO address is outside the European Union, we can dispatch your goods immediately.

If your BFPO address is inside the EU, we need a correctly completed and signed form 15(10) tax exemption form. You can download a sample form 15(10) here: Tax Exemption Form 15(10). We will process your order when you place it, but cannot dispatch it until we receive your completed form 15(10) in the post. If we do not receive the completed form within 14 days, we will contact you to see if you still wish to proceed with your order.

We are delighted to receive orders from service personnel, and are glad to be able to offer this option for them.
