Brynje string vests back in stock in all sizes

Brynje traditional men's string vests are now available in all sizes from Medium to XXXL.

These vests are very popular. They're easy care, 100% cotton, and keep you comfortable in both hot and cold weather.

Brynje of Norway are the experts at making string vests, and we know they are the best available. These original Brynje vests are difficult to source now, so we're delighted to have them back in stock.

Non-essential shop in Wales re-opening

Non-essential shops in Wales can re-open on Monday 12th April. I will be delighted to welcome customers, but - as I will sometimes be out seeing customers - please contact me on 01874 623613 before travelling to the shop. 

Phoning ahead will also ensure you can time your visit to have plenty of space in the shop for social distancing to help keep everyone safe. 

Online and telephone orders are continuing as usual, with parcels dispatched as soon as possible so they arrive with you within approximately 3-5 days in the UK (overseas delivery is dependent on local services in your country).

You are also welcome to phone me to arrange to collect items from the shop or from the counter outside the shop.

Online orders, phone orders, and collection from shop in Brecon all continuing as usual

Online orders and telephone orders are continuing as usual even though the shop has to remain shut as "non-essential retail" under the current Covid rules. We pack parcels in the evenings and post orders out from Brecon Post Office.

Alternatively you can arrange socially-distanced collection from the shop, or I can deliver if you are near to Brecon.

Telephone orders and online orders available as usual during Covid restrictions

Although the shop is closed due to Covid restrictions, you are welcome to telephone us on 01874 623613 to place an order. We can send items to you by Royal Mail, or you can arrange a time for safe collection from the counter outside my shop in Brecon.

I can also deliver locally, observing social distancing and wearing appropriate PPE.

Online orders are continuing as normal. I am packing items in the evenings and sending parcels from Brecon Post Office, usually the next day. 

Royal Mail parcels are generally arriving in the expected timescale, though Covid means occasionally there are slight delays. 

For delivery to addresses in the EU, since 1st January 2021 there are local taxes to be paid by the recipient. We have no control over these and do not know the local rates. Your local tax office can usually provide details.

Olymp non-iron Luxor shirts in pink and blue: long sleeve, easy care, smart, comfortable to wear

Olymp make beautiful shirts and we're pleased to add more of their Luxor non-iron 100% cotton long sleeve shirts to our online shop. These pink shirts and blue shirts are great for business and leisure, looking smart both with suits and with less formal attire.

We have a pink shirt with subtle self-pattern in the weave, a plain pink shirt with Paisley lining inside the collar, and a plain blue shirt with Paisley lining inside the collar. At the moment we have stock in all sizes from 15.5 inch neck to 18 inch neck. Olymp describe these shirts as "modern fit", but I know from wearing them myself that they are a standard cut (and are certainly not slim-fit).

Olymp Luxor shirts are finely tailored with nice details such as contrast buttons and a subtle Olymp logo on the cuff. Wrinkle free, non-iron, and breathable, they are great for practicality too.

Online and phone orders continuing, for posting and for click-and-collect

Online and phone orders are still available. Although the shop in Brecon is closed in line with Wales' Covid rules, I am packing orders in the evenings for dispatch from Brecon Post Office the next day. This service will continue while Brecon Post Office is open, before and after Christmas.

You are welcome to order safely online, or to phone me on 01874 623613 (the call diverts to my mobile if I am not available on the landline) to place your order. 

If you are local to Brecon, and would like to collect your order, phone me and I'll arange this to suit you. I can also deliver locally (at a safe distance and with PPE).

Cavalry twill trousers in fawn with expandable waist

Classic cavalry twill trousers sit nicely in the waist, with a concealed expandable waistband allowing 2 inches of "give" for comfort. WIth 5 pockets, 45% wool/65% polyester fabric for easy-care machine washing, they're a popular product.

We've sold these cavalry twill trousers in the shop in Brecon for years, and have now added them to our online shop. They're made by Meyer of Germany, a company we deal with a lot because they have such high standards. As their lebels say, "Quality in every detail".

Clip end braces and leather end braces: new stock now in

Our strong clip braces are best-sellers, and we're delighted to have a top-up of our stock ready for Christmas. Wide straps and secure clips make these braces practical and comfortable. They are also available with leather ends, to fit onto trousers with buttons.

Both styles of strong braces come in standard, XL, and XXL lengths, to suit even very tall men. Colours for these braces include red, navy blue, black, green, beige, grey, and wine/burgundy.

Paisley pattern braces, white braces with gold clips, black braces with gold clips, spotted braces, and Albert Thurston boxcloth braces can all be found in the braces section of this website.

Shop open again today after Welsh firebreak lockdown ends

Online orders and telephone orders continuing during various UK lockdowns

We are continuing to dispatch online orders and telephone orders from Brecon during the Welsh lockdown. The English, Scottish, and Northern Irish lockdowns do not affect our online orders or phone orders.

This means that wherever you order from, we will still be selecting your products, packing them carefully, and sending them out to you by Royal Mail from Brecon Post Office most days.
