Tweed suit fabrics in a range of colours and styles including herringbone and checks

We have an attractive range of tweed fabrics, from traditional herringbones and salt and pepper designs to more colourful checks. Customers visiting the shop for made to measure suits and jackets enjoy seeing and handling the fabric samples. 

Online it is more difficult to show you the fabrics. We can give you an idea of what we have available, but colour reproduction varies on different computers, tablets, and mobiles - and of course we can't replicate the experience of feeling the cloth.

One of our tweed cloth pattern bunches is shown above. There are nearly 40 different tweeds in this bunch alone. Below is a smart tweed fabric with a bold check on a subtle background, which looks superb as either a suit or a sports jacket.

Made to measure tweed suits for customers in Swansea, Cardiff, and Herefordshire

We are busy with made to measure suits at the moment, especially tweed suits, and have several in the shop today ready for customers to collect. 

Among them there is a striking green tweed three-piece suit for a gentleman to wear at his wedding, a green windowpane check two-piece tweed suit, and a navy blue four-piece pinstripe suit for a businessman. Also on the tweed theme is a classic grey herringbone tweed sports jacket with black leather buttons for a regular customer.

Orders from the Republic of Ireland

We have many customers in the Republic of Ireland. As the majority of addresses in Eire don't currently have postcodes, we've set up the online ordering form to enter "0000" in the postcode line, as this cannot be left blank.

When postcodes are introduced soon, customers in the Republic will be able to enter their new postcode.

Royal Mail 1st Class deliveries from Aidan Sweeney

Some customers have been double-checking with us about deliveries, as some courier companies used by large retailers have developed backlogs. We always use Royal Mail First Class post for our UK deliveries and so have kept our parcels moving.

I post your parcels personally at Brecon Post Office. We feel this is the best service we can provide for our customers.

You can see the full list of last posting dates for Christmas 2014 in our Useful Information section. For standard First Class UK deliveries before Christmas, we need to receive your order by 3pm on Friday 19th December. Special delivery options are available after this - please phone us first to check before ordering.

Last order times for delivery before Christmas are based on the Royal Mail's recommended last posting dates.

Your order will need to reach us by 3 p.m. on the days listed below.

Once your parcel leaves us, how quickly it reaches you depends on the Royal Mail!

Orders placed after these deadlines will still be processed while the shop is open, but will not arrive until after Christmas.

Hawick Knitwear Arran sweater: cable pattern crew neck in pure lambswool

Hawick Knitwear's Arran sweater is a crew neck in a cable pattern, made in Scotland from pure new lambswool. It really is a superb jumper which we are pleased to recommend.

Hawick Knitwear have been making top quality jumpers since 1874. This Arran jumper is part of their Celtic Collection.
