Roller towels take starring role in film!

Our traditional roller towels are playing a starring role in the recently released film The Keeper. The film tells the story of Bert Trautmann, who famously kept goal for Manchester City in the 1956 Cup Final while suffering from a broken neck. The blue striped towels are shown in the Wembley dressing room scenes.

It's been two years since we were first contacted by Julia Panholzer, the set decorator for Lieblingsfilm Produktions GmbH who were making the film. She was keen to acquire a set of the striped roller towels for the dressing room scenes. We were pleased to help, and dispatched a very large parcel of blue striped roller towels to her in Munich. 

We were delighted to see the film, which we enjoyed very much. Congratulations to Julia and her team for creating such wonderful sets.

Red check seersucker tablecloths and napkins

Seersucker tablecloths and napkins are year-round favourites - and they're especially good for summer dining and eating outside in the garden. We've now added red check to our range, in addition to blue check, green check, and yellow check.

Seersucker tablecloths are very practical and easy to care for. They can be machine washed and are colour-fast to 40 degrees.

Jockey y-fronts up to 60 inch waist

We stock Jockey y-front briefs in sizes up to 60 inch waist. This classic brief, with its comfortable 100% fine cotton fabric and elasticated waitband, is always popular with our customers.

Y-fronts are available in white and in blue, in 3-packs for waist sizes 32 inches to 46 inches, and in single packs for waist sizes 48 inches to 60 inches.

Large spotted handkerchiefs for Morris Dancers and sports clubs

Our large spotted handkerchiefs are popular with Morris Dancers and sports club. They are 22 inches square, made from 100% pure cotton, and are available in red with white spots and navy blue with white spots.

These spotted hanks are attractive and practical, with a variety of uses: handkerchief, neckerchief, bandana, napkin, headscarf..... They've even equipped schoolchildren needing accessories for a pirate's outfit!

ProTrek Challenger socks - Merino wool cushioned socks for walkers

ProTrek Challenger walking socks give you warmth, comfort, and support.They are durable, cushioned, and attractively designed. We have sold them in our shop in Brecon for many years, and now we're delighted to add them to our online shop.

Made by long-established British manufacturer HJ Hall, ProTrek Challangers are 60% Merino wool, 20 % cotton, 18% polyamide, and 2% elastane. This blend of fibres is durable, anti-bacterial, and soft. ProTrek Challenger socks are great to wear with walking boots or other stout footwear. They are machine washable at 30 degrees.

These high-performance socks are available in 3 designs: navy/red/blue, black/grey/red, and brown/beige. Sizes are UK shoe size 6-8.5, and 9-11.

Ladies handkerchiefs in gift boxes

Pretty hankerchiefs in gift boxes make a great Christmas present. We have 100% pure white cotton hankies with embroidered flower designs in boxes of 2, boxes of 3, and boxes of 6, all available to order securely online.

There are also gift boxes of six ladies handkerchiefs in assorted colours, containing a pale blue hanky, a pale violet hanky, a pale pink hanky, and three white hankies with embroidered flowers.

Silk handkerchiefs - new colours in for Christmas

100% pure silk handkerchiefs (pocket squares) are a great gift for Christmas. We have a range of spotted silk handkerchiefs, and have just added seven plain colours: gold, pink, red, maroon, purple/cerise, royal blue, and black.

Silk handkerchiefs or pocket squares look very smart in the top pocket of a suit or sports jacket.

All these silk handkerchiefs are approximately 17 inches square (43 cm). They are hand made in England, and we are delighted to add them to our collection.

Made to measure tweed jacket in blue check with alcantara collar

This lovely blue tweed made to measure jacket has just been completed. The customer chose several made to measure style options to personalise his jacket, including the blue alcantara collar, the blue pocket trim, and the blue buttonhole detail.

Black braces for Christmas and New Year functions

Black braces with silver coloured clip ends and black braces with leather ends are popular with customers online and in the shop in Brecon at this time of year, and we've just restocked to meet demand. The clips are extra-strong, the leather fittings are high quality, and the straps wide and comfortable. All these black braces are available in 3 different sizes, are adjustable for length, and can be bought securely online from this site.

As well as black, both styles of braces - strong clip end and leather end - are available in a range of six other colours: navy, grey, red, wine/burgundy, green, and beige, all in 3 sizes. The full range of colours in the strong clip braces is shown in the photo.

Our pin-dot braces, in navy with white spots (photo below) and wine/burgundy with white spot, are also popular, both with gentlemen buying for themselves, and with friends and family looking for a smart and practical Christmas present! These have silver coloured clip ends and come in 3 sizes as well.
