Hawick Knitwear Arran sweater: cable pattern crew neck in pure lambswool

Hawick Knitwear's Arran sweater is a crew neck in a cable pattern, made in Scotland from pure new lambswool. It really is a superb jumper which we are pleased to recommend.

Hawick Knitwear have been making top quality jumpers since 1874. This Arran jumper is part of their Celtic Collection. In natural oatmeal, with a long length and a slim fit, it is a great choice for men's casual winterwear. It combines the traditional cable design with contemporary detailing, including the Hawick diamond on the left sleeve and the British Wool badge on the waist.

A stylish feature is the use of Harris Tweed for the elbow patches and neck insert. Harris Tweed is protected by Act of Parliament: it must be made from 100% pure new wool dyed, spun, handwoven at the home of the weaver and finished in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.

Hawick Knitwear's Arran sweater is substantial enough to keep you warm in the winter, but light and soft enough to feel snug and cosy. During manufacturing the wool is washed in water from a stream by the Hawick factory in Scotland. This brings out the natural softness of the wool and produces a fabric that is wonderfully comfortable.

This Hawick Knitwear jumper combines well with Meyer corduroy trousers for a smart casual winter outfit. It is available to buy online and in our shop in Brecon, in sizes from Small to XXL.
